About Us

We are a small home based hobby kennel located close to Barrie, Ontario . All our Golden Retrievers are members of our family and live in our home. Puppies are raised in the house, underfoot and exposed to a variety of noises and everyday activities (vacuum, tv, radio etc). Some of our dogs live with foster families who love and raise them as their own. If you are interested in doing something like this please contact me for information.

My first Golden Retriever was from a local kennel. Her name was Bailey’s Mist (Misty) hence the kennel name of Baileymist. I learned alot about Golden Retrievers from her and it has been a love affair ever since.

We were among the founders of The Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toronto, are members of the Canadian Kennel Club, Caledon Kennel Association and Golden Retriever club of Canada as well as the Golden Retriever Club of America. Our dogs compete in Rally Obedience, Conformation and dabble in field work. The gang loves to swim, retrieve balls, Frisbee’s and any other object they can fit in their mouth. They are outgoing and energetic dogs who love to work & play.

We are working hard to produce Golden Retrievers that are sound mentally, physically and emotionally. Who will live long healthy happy lives. We strive to produce Goldens who will represent the breed as it should be ,adhering to the breed standard. Who will make great family members as well as good conformation and working dogs. Our Goldens range in colour from light gold to medium gold and are a combination of American and English lines.

We only breed when we want to produce a puppy for ourselves, therefore, litters are only available one to two times a year at most.

All puppies come with a two year guarantee, registered with the CKC, microchipped, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, 6 weeks free health insurance and lifetime breeder support.

Questions about Golden Retrievers, puppies, training, feeding etc. are always welcome. We love to talk about our dogs.
